About Us

D.R. Domenichini Construction is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured general contracting firm servicing the greater Bay Area. David R. Domenichini, owner and proprietor, brings over 20 years of experience to his family owned and operated business.

We don't settle for "good enough." Our company has been built primarily on client referrals and the fact of the matter is, simply being satisfied does not inspire people to recommend a contractor. Our referrals have come from clients that have been impressed beyond their expectations.

Not only is the quality of our work exceptional, but our clients tell us that it is our integrity, commitment and communication that allows them to feel good about recommending us to their families and friends.

Remodeling your home is a long-term investment. You want to choose a general contracting firm that will stand behind their work and materials for years to come. At D. R. Domenichini Construction, we transform homes, foster great relationships and build clients for life.

Our Process

A home remodel should not be stressful. An informed client is a happy client. Our system has been developed to assure your ease of mind. We make sure that you know what to expect and are aware of any changes that may occur along the way.

Critical Path Schedule

We create a schedule and stick to it! We build in "catch-up" days throughout so that if the inevitable, "unexpected" happens, it doesn't affect the important scheduled items and the completion date.

Daily Updates

We keep you in the loop! You will receive an email from us at 6:00pm every day. This daily update email will include 4 items:

  • Project Update

  • My Homework

  • Your Homework

  • Change Orders

This allows for the utmost in communication!

No Surprise Change Orders

Once the design is created, we can provide a detailed proposal. This helps avoid change orders and "cost creep" which can be common in the construction industry. Therefore the only change order that occurs is unforeseen conditions that are unknown before the project was started (i.e. something buried in the wall).

Job Completion

Your project manager will schedule a final job walk with you to ensure all parties are happy with the end result. A follow-up site visit will be set-up about 4 weeks after completion. This is a "quality control" meeting to identify any issues that sometimes arise after you "move back in."
