David R. Domenichini | Founder/Owner
David R. Domenichini is owner and proprietor of D.R. Domenichini Construction and brings over 20 years of experience to his family owned and operated business. David has extensive training in construction principles and project management; has performed hundreds of remodeling projects over the years and enjoys making people's remodeling dreams come true. He understands that effective communication is imperative and he makes it a point to be readily available to answers client’s questions. David employs journeymen carpenters and hires only trade partners that meet his strict standards in terms of quality, reliability and efficiency.
David resides in San Martin with his wife, Gina. Together they opened up a new kitchen and bath showroom in downtown Morgan Hill, Studio 38 Designs which is managed by Gina. You will see both of them active throughout the community in various groups and supporting our local charities.
Scott Calloway | Senior Project Manager
Scott Calloway worked in the materials management field for 15 years, managing personnel, freight and inventory, prior to joining D.R. Domenichini Construction. In addition to being a Project Manager, he is responsible for customer relations, safety and training programs, new policy implementation/monitoring and in general, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company.
Scott was recognized for his volunteering and assistance in the repair and upgrade project to the historic Grange Hall in Morgan Hill. He and his wife live in San Jose. Scott enjoys working around the house, working on vintage automobiles, playing guitar and skateboarding.
Scott served the U.S. Navy for six years as a Aircrew Survival Equipmentman. He was stationed with VS-29 aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson (CVN-70) and at Naval Air Station Moffett Field.
Corbin King | Project Manager/Estimator
Corbin King has been with D.R. Domenichini Construction since 2013. He started as an apprentice carpenter and has since worked his way up to Project Manager/Estimator. He is responsible for estimating and managing many of D.R. Domenichini Construction's larger scale projects. Corbin enjoys helping to create spaces that his clients have always wanted and/or dreamed of, and forging friendships along the way.
Corbin lives in Morgan Hill with his wife and is involved in the community. Corbin enjoys working on his 1970 Camaro, doing projects around his house, golfing, fishing, hiking, and anything outdoors.
Amber Nelsen | Operations Coordinator/Estimator
Amber Nelsen started working in the remodeling industry in 2004. Over the years she has gained experience in the many components that create a successful remodeling project. Since joining our team in January 2015, she has helped DRD receive multiple design awards from our local NARI chapter.
Amber has proven expertise in current kitchen and bathroom cabinet industry standards and nomenclature, earning the NKBA Cabinetry Badge. Testing covered various materials, finishing products, storage systems, and joinery options, as well as door styles, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
Amber also has proven expertise in a focused overview of current kitchen and bathroom remodeling industry standards and features, the NKBA Remodeling Badge highlights basic building structures, systems, finishes, types, and styles. Emphasis is made on the importance of building codes, regulations, permits, and inspections, and when and why they’re used. Testing also details the sequence of events of a remodeling project, from client interaction and budgeting to design plans, site management, and effective communication.
Amber and her husband purchased a home recently in the Aptos hills where they live with her daughter and their animals. She enjoys running half marathons and plans to run her first full marathon by next year. She also loves camping and relaxing at the beach.
Brad Minklein | Project Manager
Brad is one of our newest additions to the project management team. He graduated from DeAnza College with a degree in Business. His career has encompassed a strong understanding of customer satisfaction in the home inspection industry for over 12 years. He is very approachable and enjoys building positive working relationships. As a project manager, he is working directly with the clients and construction crews to ensure the residential remodeling projects are completed as designed, and to the customers satisfaction.
Brad was born in San Jose and currently resides in Gilroy with his family. He played baseball growing up and throughout college. He enjoys coaching kids, and most weekends he spends traveling with his sons’ baseball team. Brad is a fan of all sports and is always up to date on the latest news.
Trevor Fellows | Project Manager/Sales
Trevor has spent his entire career in customer service. Recent years have been centered around all different aspects of home construction and remodeling, and he is glad to now be an asset and contributing member to the D.R. Domenichini team as a Project Manager. After growing up in Willow Glen, Trevor moved away to Oregon for several years to start a family, but is happy to be back home near the rest of his family. Always optimistic, energetic, and trying to keep up with the jokes, Trevor likes creating a fun and positive atmosphere to work in while maintaining the quality, professional standard that D.R. Domenichini Construction strives for. With his ample experience in the field, he is looking forward to growing additional skillsets working alongside his DRD teammates.
In between playing guitar, cooking a nice meal, and working on his house, you will probably find Trevor outside on a hike somewhere with his wife, son and two dogs.
Dustin Hendersen | Project Manager
Dustin was born and raised in the Morgan Hill area, and after spending around 15 years living in Asia, he and his wife and three kids have moved back to the area. He has more than five years of experience running construction projects all over the Bay Area. His favorite part about construction is working to understand a homeowner's vision and making the dream become a reality.
He stays busy outside of work, chasing his three boys around to whichever seasonal sports they're involved in. He also loves to go to the beach with a fishing pole, pretending to catch fish.

Tessa Husemann | Estimator/Project Manager
Tessa grew up in Germany and went to graduate school in Lyon, France where she met her husband. In 2014, they moved to his hometown of Los Gatos.
Tessa is a self-taught builder who loves the challenges that come with creating beautiful places to live. After years of swinging hammers after-hours, she found she couldn’t get enough and decided to move into the field full-time. Aside from her hands-on construction experience, Tessa’s prior career in operations management makes her a natural fit for the DRD team.
Tessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning and a Master’s degree in conflict management. Outside of work, she loves going on weekend adventures with her husband and two young children.
