We’re Looking for a
Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all tasks and timelines related to residential interior and exterior remodels - primarily kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.

  • Attend meetings with the Designer, Estimator, and Client to preview the job and understand the scope of work.

  • Spend the time needed to thoroughly review the spec book and job plans to understand the project requirements.

  • Approve the schedule created by the Estimator after fully immersing yourself with all of the information provided. Changes to the schedule (by the Project Manager) may be made at this time after fully understanding the project.

  • Maintain a critical path schedule to ensure project completion happens on time.

  • Maintain daily communication through email and CoConstruct with Clients, Subs, etc.

  • Communicate with the Designer and Client to clarify any questions regarding the design intent and real-life logistics.

  • Capture any change orders based on changing or newly discovered conditions, e.g., client add-ons and other items not included in the design or original scope of work.

  • Invoice client (every Thursday) and collect payment for progress billing and change orders weekly (every Friday).

  • Attend all team meetings: management meetings on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, the first Wednesday of the month, the entire day, and the entire first week in August for Reboot Week.

  • Conduct final walkthroughs with clients on the last day of the job and 28 days after project completion.

  • Ensure that final photographs are taken of every project by either our professional photographer or another DRD staff member identified (on smaller jobs).

  • Conduct job closeout procedures.

Expectations for the Construction Project Manager Role:

  • Be pleasant and have fun while establishing a rapport with the clients and the DRD team.

  • Dress and act professionally to best represent D.R. Domenichini Construction. Follow the dress code guidelines created by DRD.

  • Have fun and help make the working conditions fun for everyone to enjoy.

  • Work effectively, timely, accurately, and within the deadlines necessary.

  • Develop and exercise leadership skills.

  • Be dependable, on-time, on-task, and dedicated to your position.

  • Be a self-starter, take the initiative, and be a team player.

  • Be well organized to ensure the accuracy of projects.

  • Be accepting of continuous changes that will occur as the company grows and develops in the form of project type, project location, and the development of the company system.

  • Be solution-driven when issues arise within the development of projects.

  • Attend occasional evening and weekend company events.

  • Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train.

  • This position can be partially remote.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary commensurate with experience. The Project Manager role is a full-time position, and benefits include Health, Dental, and Vision plans and 401K.
